Dodge City West is a family-owned restaurant and roots come from the barbecue tradition of Dodge City, Kansas. The restaurant is able to blend traditional Kansas BBQ techniques with local San Diego flavors.
For the layout of the menu it was important to make sure everything was organized on the menu in a way that made sense. For the graphics I wanted to add something that would give it some country flare. The overall logo has a lot of ties to the families history including the star badge in honor of their great grandfather being a sheriff. As well as the cow horns just inspired by being from Dodge City, known for being a frontier cow town.
